Chrissy walks in front of American Family Insurance - an insurance agency 4 doors down from Merlancia's old World Wide Headquarters.

From a "field interview" on 11-5-02 agent Wanda states that Christina and Ryan both attempted to purchase a 1 MILLION DOLLAR business insurance policy in the past.

A 1 Million dollar policy was never issued as agent Wanda KNEW Merlancia had no substantial deliveries of any kind and their store contained nothing near 1 million dollars worth of inventory.

They eventually had a policy issued by State Farm Insurance. State Farm Agent Joseph Van Pelt - 2848 Bell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 602-375-3965

8-26-2000 - Christina reports a "stolen" trailer full of computer equipment.

Estimated value is placed at $50,000. She reports trailer contains Amiga computer equipment for which her son is one of the few representatives in the US.

Here is a picture of the recovered "stolen" trailer which alledgedly contained 1 million dollars worth of inventory.

What a coincidence that after trying to get a business policy for 1 million dollars - one FINALLY is obtained and then there is the "theft" of over 1 million dollars in inventory from a trailer parked in FRONT of their store. Claim increased from $50,000 one day to over 1 million dollars the next!

What are the odds on that?

8-27-2000 - LOOK! The police report is now UPDATED and a claim is now made that over 1 million dollars was involved. Now a claim can be filed with the insurance company for GASP! Over 1 MILLION dollars!

Here is a list of the "stolen" contents from the trailer.

Hmm - 12 Amiga A4000 towers - at $2400 each - for a "bare bones" tower. I know personally there were no more than 3 A4000 Towers at the store.

Oh - it must be the 200 Developer disks in binders that raised the value to over 1 million dollars. Why that's $4856 each! WOW!

Maybe they were developer disks for the Merlancia MMC Series of "Super Amiga" computers?

Where is that InfoCom developer disk? I better start making copies and put them in binders and get some HEAVY business insurance!

Here's the "stolen" trailer report.
